The Comms Branch is in a nationwide blue with NBN Monopoly operators.
Workers are being exploited
Workers are being underpaid
This industry is being forced into an Uber style employment arrangement using an NBN App.
This is disgraceful.
Touch one, touch all.NBN techs have resolved to engage in a nationwide day of action tomorrow, downing tools together across the country. Four rallies are being held in capital cities - if you’re near one, come and show your support for NBN workers fighting for fairness.

Hi guy's,

Hi guy's how are you?

I'm currently working on a project with 3 other worker's through Allstaff labour hire. Allstaff are refusing to pay any travel allowences, replace or supply any uniforms or safety boots, and are not paying correct overtime rates.

We have emailed them multiple time regarding the above, but they don't seem to think we are entitled to the most basic things.

Here is my payslip with my $47/hr leading hand rate and their overtime rates.

They are claiming all allowences are included in the $42/hr (casual ffs) for a normal electrician.

Thank you to every worker/delegate/organiser that attended or showed support for our rally at SAPN today.

A special thank you to all the workers who were stood down by the business today for participating in LIVE WORK bans. You are legends. All 60-70 of you.

Here are some pics from the rally today to show how it went to those that couldn’t make it.

We stand United against a 20% reduction in wages for new workers

We stand United against the increase of labour hire and casualisation in the regulated industries.
