Alastair Carroll – Branch President

The office of Branch president is an honorary (unpaid) position. Alastair is an Electrician currently working in commercial construction and defence at CITE Services. He has worked previously in the shipbuilding industry. Alastair is an elected South Australian delegate to the CEPU Electrical Energy and Services Divisional Council.

John is an electrician who worked in the lift industry. he is the secretary of the SA Branch, a delegate to CEPU Electrical Energy and Services Divisional Council and a CEPU National Councilor.

John sits on the following Boards:

Portable Long Service Leave (PLSL) which manages construction industry workers log service leave entitlements

Mates in Construction a charitable organisation created to address the unacceptably high suicide rates in the construction industry. Mates uses evidence based solutions to improve awareness and prevention of suicide.

As an alternate member on the board of the Electricsuper superannuation scheme (Formally EISS) a not-for-profit industry super scheme

Jason ‘Splitty’ Lailey is a qualified distribution Powerline Worker who has worked in the NT and around SA. His areas of responsibility include the Electricity Supply Industries (Distribution and Transmission).

Jason sits on the board of the Electric Super superannuation scheme (Formally EISS) a not-for-profit industry super scheme and the board of PEER a not-for-profit industry run Registered Training Organisation and Group Training Organisation.
