Dear CEPU SA members,
It is with great sadness that we inform you that CEPU Life Member, SA Branch President and former Branch Secretary Bob Donnelly passed away this morning.

Bob joined the ETU in April 1968 as an 18 year old. In September 1987 Bob won a position as an Elected Official with close friend Bob Geraghty taking over as State Secretary. Together they transformed the ETU into a strong, member focused union and later presided over the amalgamation of the Communications, Electrical and Plumbing Unions. In 2007 Bob was elected into the position of Assistant State Secretary. After the passing of State Secretary Bob Geraghty, Bob assumed the role of Acting State Secretary in March 2010 and was elected State Secretary until his retirement in October 2015. Bob remained active after 2015 as CEPU State President, presiding over CEPU State Council meetings as recent as April 2017.
Bob was at peace and ready to rest after a long battle with cancer.
His positivity was an inspiration right to the end.
Our thoughts are with Robyn, Chad and family.
